Jenna + Cale // Naperville, Illinois Engagement Photography

Where do I even start with how excited I am to share Jenna and Cale’s engagement photos?! First of all, I need to give some background information. I met Jenna years ago when we both attended Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois. Not only were we both studying English Communications, but we both worked for our university’s newspaper and shared a love for British Literature (did I mention Jenna is as brilliant and nice as she is gorgeous? Because she is!). Lucky for me, we kept in touch after we both graduated (she even came to my wedding back in 2009!) and when she contacted me about shooting her wedding and engagement photos? Let’s just say I was over-the-moon excited.

We shot the photos in downtown Naperville, Illinois, taking our time wandering through the river walk and perfectly manicured streets full of historic charm, chatting about their wedding and how they met. And oh – y’all – these two are so wonderful together. Cale is so obviously in love with his beautiful bride-to-be, and they have an easy, comfortable way with each other that shows both romantic affection and deep friendship.
