Candace + Ben || Cary, Illinois Family Photography

A few weeks ago, when I shot my friend Danielle’s gorgeous family, I also got the chance to take some very important announcement photos for Danielle’s sister, Candace, and her husband, Ben. Danielle had found the perfect nearby spot in a old red barn for the photos, and we were all up for a little trespassing and wading through insane snow piles to accomplish these photos. I mean…why not? #anythingfortheshot

Candace and her husband Ben were one of those couples that just plain FUN to work with. They laughed and had a good time together effortlessly as I snapped the shutter away – one of those couples you instantly want to be friends with because they just radiate joy and love. Oh, and did I mention they’re really attractive too? Yep, total joy to have in front of my camera! Add in that the photo session was also to announce they are expecting their first child soon and BOOM – these are the sessions I just can’t get enough. So much fun, getting to document important, happy moments in people’s lives.

Candace and Ben – I loved meeting you. I wish you both and Baby Carr an outpouring of joy, love, and happy memories I know you will have fun making as a new little family. The best is yet to come!
